SAN ANTONIO -- The FDA is close to giving it a green light to a what many are calling an exciting new weapon in the battle against breast cancer.

It's a cancer-detecting bra that can detect the disease in its early stages. Called "The First Warning System," the bra contains sensors that pick up temperature changes in breast tissue.

Women must wear it for 12 hours to get a stable reading. The developers say it can predict the presence of breast cancer with 90-percent accuracy.

The bra will cost about $200 and is expected to be approved by the FDA in about a year.
