Election officials near Fort Hood are worried soldiers may not have their votes counted this November. Earlier this month, the Army's Adjutant General urged soldiers to vote by completing and mailing in a Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot.

However, election officials say soldiers were not told they had to request that ballot first by mail by October 30. Without a request, votes are not counted. The ballot is also available online.

This is totally unsat. Any person serving in the Military should be afforded the opportunity to vote and to have their vote counted. It is up to each command to ensure that those personnel wanting to vote are given the information and the tools to do so. If this is not being done then there is some serious explaining that needs to be made. It is a fact that a majority of service people have no love for our current commander in chief I wonder if that could be an underlying issue here.

The current top military brass is very worried that BO is going to loose this election. Since they have so closely aligned themselves with the BO regime's leftist agenda they understand that should Romney win they will be looking at early retirement. Their fear is not unfounded. This is why they have been dragging their heels implementing the Military & Overseas Voters Empowerment Act which was supposed to insure this sort of thing did not happen.
