AUSTIN -- Lawmakers today are looking at how much it would cost to require Texans to pass a drug test in order to get their government assistance checks. The plan would affect anyone on unemployment or food stamps.

Those in favor of the proposed legislation argue those on assistance who fail the drug test should not receive the benefits. Critics argue the costs would outweight the benefits of the plan.

DISCUSS: Should drug testing be required for those on government assistance?

My freedom of expression. Hey, Jacobez thanks for being nosy and over opinionated on comments that don't even interest you, too much time on your hands I guess. Might just get used to the mariachi music dude (for your info no piano in the group too many beers maybe) please do slam down another beer and pickup the bible WTH. Lervia thanks again, would like to continue on these comments but they have gone the wrong way to where they are not interesting to me anymore since jacobez jumped on, don't mean to be rude but need to spend my time more productively, life is to short and going by to fast. jacobez don't bother posting your comment on this one cause I won't be looking anymore. Goodbye

rrod4230, I KNOW that you and Jacobz aren't one and the same. Jacobez has somehow found out my real identity, has researched me, and is threatening me with it, and or playing with me about it, although only occasionally lately. I've already had a few discussions with cyberbob about this situation. Doesn't matter because my life history has nothing bad in it, or anything that I'm ashamed of. I am who I am, and have made the mistakes in my life that I've acknowledged, and I make NO excuses for them. That's why I am who I am, and I am proud of who I am....for the most part!!! We all make mistakes along the way through life, but I've not made any that I would be ashamed of, yet can claim a learning experience from. Toodles, guys. I'm outa here!!!!

This sort of thing is not patriotic. I do not know who you are and resent the fact that you are trying to simulate some sort of correspondence but refuse to acknowledge that freedom of expression means that this sort of thing happens. Christ, I need to slam down another beer and go read the bible, because temptation is bellowing at me from afar, like yesterday, when the skins in the hood were playing the mariachi music with that damnable bass line that sounds like a kid learning to play the piano, over and over and over and over again. I am now thinking that this 4230 fellow or feline is actually DODIE LEE.

I'm not generally interested in oil plays because the accounting is impossible to decipher. I am not mod4230 or any of the other people, and as an aside it is very common in forums to perceive that various sets of people are one and the same even though they are not. I do not know who you are or have personal information on you. I do not follow Shell at all, again because of the accounting thing with oil companies. I can't imagine how I could come up with something that only you could recognize, but I vaguely remember that you seemed to respond to some comment I made about Tractor Supply. I only mentioned it in passing because based on the charts I made a small investment ten years ago that has turned into a retirement plan. It was just a math thing. I enjoy information processing and the Cline thing was new to me. I grew up in west Texas and you know how it is, everyone thinks the Permian went belly up a long time ago and it's interesting to see something new. I wish you well, so to speak.

@Jacobez, the tip on the Cline shale was for rrod4230. I don't mind anybody else getting a tip from it, but you make me question, are you and rrod4230 one and the same? I'm getting really tired of knowing that you have personal information on me and my identity & could be playing me, yet won't share who you are. Care to give it up and share, or at least give me a hint that I, and only me, would recognize? Tell me, does Shell have an interest in the Cline Shale?

Cline shale, and thanks for the tip. The shale stretches over 10 counties between Midland-Odessa, Abilene and San Angelo and has drawn interest from other companies such as Fort Worth-based Range Resources (NYSE: RRC) and Devon Energy Corp. (NYSE: DVN).

rrod4230, I've been told that you need to check into a company, Renegade, that does SCADA systems, well monitoring, compressor monitoring, and the like. My source will have to get better information on names and numbers and we'll get back to you, but you might can find out before us!!! The newest shale play, which will be a biggie & bigger than the Eagle Ford will the Kline Shale, which will be West Texas. Watch for it.

Lervia, I'm really grateful that there are still people like you out there, willing to help and advise other people even if you don't know them. Even at my age I have always thought especially being in management, that having an open mind and listening and taking advise form others is the way to go.Thanks Again
