Alan Sanders was diagnosed with a sarcoma at 17 months old in April 2009.
Unfortunately, pediatric sarcomas are very rare and unique, so there wasn't a lot of research for the doctors to work with. After a roller coaster of treatment successes and recurrences of the tumor, we were told in September 2012 that there were no more treatment options left.
After four months at home making memories, Alan passed away on January 17, 2013. His family would like to continue the fight against pediatric sarcomas in his name.
