NEW YORK - Milo’s Kitchen® is voluntarily recalling its Chicken Jerky and Chicken Grillers home-style dog treats after trace amounts of residual antibiotics were found in several lots.

The FDA says "the use of antibiotics to keep chickens healthy and disease-free while raising them is standard practice in poultry production for both human and pet food, but the antibiotics found in the products were unapproved and should not be present in the final food product."

I'm with you Jimkata. I check every bag of chewies (flips) and treats I pick up for my three dogs. I really prefer them to be made in Brazil. Besides, Milo's Kichen stuff is expensive and not worth the cost or the chance of a sick dog.

Not 100%certain, but I think Milo's Kitchen product's may be made in China. Please check the country of origin before buying them or feeding them to your pet. Pet product's made in China have had a bad history of things being in them that have harmed, even killed many pets.
