Is Washington broken? ...are you kidding we have a president who has not passed a budget since 2009, a national debt that grows by the second, were giving money we don't have to egypt/muslim brother, and playing golf in the final days leading up the the presidentially recommended/induced sequester. Not to mention Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the drone plane spotted over new york, his attack on our second ammendment rights; just to name a few.

Washington isn't any more 'broken' than it has been in the past century. The real issue is the complete lack of leadership from the President. He is the first President in modern times who puts his agenda ahead of what's best for the country, he prefers that the people suffer if it furthers his power expansion.

Definately broken and sadly beyond repair. Our government is killing the American way of life. Due to the always bogged down political parties, career politicians and corrupt officials, this country is doomed. In my opinion, the system needs a complete overhaul. Those elected to represent us, must do just that and not do their own thing. Do away with political parties, they only slow things down when it comes to decisions. Those that are elected to represent us must hear our voices and vote as WE want them to, not how they want to vote. Sadly, since an overhaul will never, ever happen, things will only get worse. America is dying a long slow death. :(

congress has been broken ever since the LIEberals came out of the woodwork in the 50's. After FDR created his new steal they felt empowered to steal the rest of our money that FDR hadn't. The 60's gave rise to morons like we have in office now and they learned how to pick your pocket while smiling at you at the corrupt institutes of higher learning. Yes washington is broken but not because of our laws and constitution but rather because LIEberals do their best to ignore them.

Is this a rhetorical question OF course its screwed up .The one big problem I see is that its run by folks that are rich and want to stay that way.What the rest of us want is secondary to that agenda .

Not only is Washington broken, it's corrupted with greed in both parties. The Democratic party is the worst of the two evils.
