SAN ANTONIO -- Sick of all of the clutter in your home or garage? In honor of "Get Organized Month," Goodwill is teaming up with professional organizers for a "Clear Your Clutter Day."
The event will combine free document shredding and the convenient donation of unwanted items. The local chapter of the National Association for Professional Organizers, is sponsoring the event.
The first letter-sized box of documents will be shredded for free. An additional letter-sized box is $5 and an additional legal size box is $8.
You're encouraged to bring unwanted household items. Attendants will be on hand to assist in unloading the items and will provide tax receipts.
Items especially in demand include computers and electronics, furniture, antiques, framed artwork, cookware, dishes and housewares, clothing and shoes, jewelry, games, toys and sporting goods, books, lamps, and office supplies.
WHEN: Saturday, Jan. 12, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
