SAN ANTONIO -- If you're a college student looking for a paid internship, the City of San Antonio is now accepting applications for its Ambassador Program.
Students get paired up with a mentor, as they study in the career field of their choice. Over 20 local businesses, including Lockheed Martin and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber, are part of the program giving students internships.
To qualify, you must meed the following guidelines:
- Be a San Antonio high school graduate or permanent resident of San Antonio
- Have already completed at least one full year (two semesters) of college
- Demonstrate and maintain at least a 2.5 grade point average or better
- Submit completed application (including attachments) no later than March 15, 2013 at 5p.m.
- Special enrollment consideration will be given to applicants attending school out-of-town or out-of-state
