SAN ANTONIO -- CPS Energy is accepting applications for their Casa Verde Program, which gives low-income customers free energy efficient upgrades to save them money. Eligible homes can receive upgrades such as attic and wall insulation, solar screens or duct sealing.
The program is available to qualifying low-income customers who live in Atascosa, Bexar, Bandera, Comal, Kendall, Medina and Wilson counties. Interested homeowners can apply by filling out a questionnaire, before an approved contractor does a home inspection for free.
Casa Verde applications will be accepted at the following locations on select days:
