Luxury car brand Cadillac is moving into the electric car market with a new green version: the Cadillac ELR.
The cars are said to go about 40 miles on electricity before a gas engine comes on to generate power for more driving. "Green Car Reports" is expecting the ELR to be in the $50,000 range before add-ons.
GM admits they don't want to sell a large number because they want them to maintain a sense of luxury and mystique.
