SAN ANTONIO -- Crime doesn't pay, but it sure does cost.
Crimes against CPS Energy cost customers more than $1.5 million each year, and the utility company wants it to stop. They've launched a "Most Wanted" public awareness campaign targeting copper and energy thieves, as well as people who impersonate CPS Energy employees.
The bilingual campaign features most wanted posters and media ads as a warning to criminals that CPS Energy and the public are on the lookout.
If you witness an energy crime happening or suspect someone of the crime, call police or CPS Energy at 210-353-4000.
