I've been hoping this thing would get done for years now and you can sure bet the 1st time the tv starts blasting during a commercial that I'll be filing a complaint so these idiots can get fined.

It was passed last year, and they had year to implement it. It goes into effect today...I think this is an achievment we can all applaud! I hate those blaring commericals.

I actually think I remember a FCC law with regard to this from years ago. What happened? Did it get forgotten or over ridden or what? I'm serious....I remember a Federal law in this regard from quite a few years ago!!!

Tell that to the b astards at World Car Mazda and Red McCombs Ford for starters. Everytime I leave the tv on and go to another room, their ads come on and I have to walk back in and mute the freaking tv because some a sshole is yelling at the top of his lungs about their f reaking cars. Am I making myself clear enough for you?
