A fund has been established to help cover the medical expenses of Brent Lowak of Bulverde. Lowak, who is 27 years old and training to become a firefighter, was seriously injured in the July 20th shooting rampage at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado.
Lowak was visiting with his best friend, Jessica Ghawi, who was killed in the attack.
"The Brent Lowak Survivor Expense Fund" has been set up at
Wells Fargo Bank by two of his best friends, Meg and Billy Bodin.
“He’s going to need financial assistance getting those medical bills covered,” Meg Bodin said Monday afternoon.
To donate to the Lowak fund, visit any
Wells Fargo branch and deposit funds into the Brent Lowak Survivor Expense Fund.
Contributions can also be mailed to Brent Lowak Survivor Expense Fund, P.O. Box 310176, New Braunfels, Texas 78311.
A PayPal account also has been set up for donations, too. PayPal users can log in and deposit funds in the
BrentLowakSurvivorExpenseFund@yahoo.com account. That email address can be used to send messages to Lowak and the Bodins.
In addition, a Facebook page has been created for well-wishers to send messages to Lowak.
