Are you registered to vote? It's the question Bexar County hopes you will say yes to.

Today, the county announced a partnership with the City of San Antonio to urge residents to register and vote in upcoming elections. Local officials and library representatives held a free and public voter registration rally at the Central Library this morning.

The last day to register to vote in the November general election is October 9. Early voting at the city libraries starts October 22. Voter registration forms are available at all San Antonio Public Library locations.

To find out if you're eligible to vote, visit the Texas Voter Information website at http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/voter/reqvr.shtml.

To register and get personal help with the process, residents can visit any of the 26 library locations across the city. To find the location closest to you, visit the San Antonio Public Library at www.mysapl.org.
