Next, the cost of cable or satellite television is not dropping, but alternatives are increasing. Those traditional television providers lost at least half a million subscribers last year, many to streaming services, such as NetFlix.
Also, the price of flat screen televisions is falling, as fewer people are buying television sets and competition increases among manufacturers.
