SAN ANTONIO -- The Bexar County Elections Office is reporting low voter turnout for the city bond election.

Around 4,400 people have voted in the first two days of early voting. When the last bond election was held in 2007, more than 5,100 people had voted in the same amount of time.

If you want to avoid the possibility of standing in line on 'election day,' early voting is the way to go. Early voting ends on May 8th.

A picture ID (Drivers License, Military ID, etc.)will work just as well as the voter registration card. The poll workers normally ask me for ID along with the voter card as well anyway.
