SAN ANTONIO -- She dreamed of being a sports reporter, but that dream was cut short in an instant. Now, San antonio native, Jessica Ghawi, who died during the Aurora, Colorado shootings, is helping many to make their own dream come true even after death.
Applications for the Jessica Ghawi scholarship are now being accepted. To qualify, you must be a full-time female student entering your junior or senior year of college. You must have at least a 2.5 GPA and be studying journalism or broadcasting. Preference will be given to students studying sports journalism.
