You know what's cool about TMI High School?
Drama: Anyone who knows anything about William Shakespeare, knows this: his plays aren't exactly...short. But the drama students at TMI have found a way to combine them all...in record time! It's sort of Shakespeare on Red Bull. Very cute, very funny, very dramatic and very cool.
The "Code": Okay -- this absolutely blew my mind. Students here have lockers -- but they don't necessarily USE them. Instead, they leave their backpacks UNDER their lockers on the floor. Why? Because they TRUST each other. Yes, I said it -- they TRUST each other. Imagine that. The cool factor here was so high, I nearly burst.
Real Men of Genius: So, when Ben (Cribs photog extraordinaire) and I walked into the room for this shoot, I gotta tell you -- we nearly spontaneously combusted. The level of brilliance in this room was blinding. These guy's are trying to figure out a way to revolutionize the way surgeons work with lasers. Watch the piece -- they explain it all. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of them.
Latin Club: Just when we thought the students at TMI couldn't get more impressive, we walked into the Latin class. They had a serious game going on where the teacher would blurt out a question and the student who hit the buzzer first had to answer the question.... in Latin. If you've never had to speak the language, then you may not appreciate how hard it is. This may help: all those 15-letter words that doctors use to diagnose people...are Latin. End of story.
