What's Cool About East Central High School?

You know what's cool at East Central High School? Its Rocket Team! These students actually learn how to build and launch rockets! The teacher was a little hesitant to set this up since their normal practice area is on acres of land where no one can get hurt. Well, the only empty field close by was on school grounds. It wouldn't have been cool if we couldn't watch them launch a rocket, so they started setting up. They picked the farthest corner of what seemed to be the length of a football field.
3, 2, 1...take off! Up the rocket went! What goes up, must come down, right? All I remember hearing was Delaine saying "RUN! Go towards the truck!"
Needless to say, running was not necessary, but the adrenaline was definitely there. Who knew this rocket had a parachute to float back down? I probably looked pretty silly to these guys who were standing there while I'm running for safety.
The rocket did make it's way back down, but no where near where we were. Again, the area was the length of a football field, the rocket ended up past that on top of the roof of the school's cafeteria! How cool is that?
