I think we found Bobby Fisher! In fact, there's a group of them at Clark High School and they've started their own Chess team. Last year, they brought home a 1st place trophy!
JR ROTC Armed Drill Team
With the amount of time we had, we could only showcase the boy's JR ROTC Drill Team. Quite a shame, because their girl's team we're pretty cool too! But the boys were the one's who brought home the Nat'l Championship.
Ultimate Frisbee Club
Hard to imagine they turned a frisbee into a competitve sport, but it's true! How cool is it to be part of the Ulitmate Frisbee Club? It's a mix of soccer and football -- and trust us, it's not easy! Our own Delaine Mathieu took one for the team when a frisbee nailed her in the eye! That night, she couldn't anchor our newscast because she had black eye! Not cool... but she blamed it on the weather.... (So a micro-burst pushed the frisbee into her eye?) Well, we'll have to turn in that storm report to the National Weather Service.
