SAN ANTONIO -- We're focusing on peanut butter this year because it's the one food item the food bank tells us it just can't get enough of.

You can drop off peanut butter or a donation at any of the dozens of Security Service Federal Credit Union locations across the area during the month of November.

Or you can host your own food drive at your office just like the folks at EMIVEST Aerospace.

Mike Day and the team at EMIVEST Aerospace are known for building business aircraft, now they're known for helping rebuild lives.

The 129 employees were divided into eight teams and competed against each another to see who could raise the most. The result was a huge success of help for others.

“We thought we'd get 1000 pounds and we raised 9,882 pounds," Mike Day says. "I can hardly say it. It is just so hard to believe.”

And EMIVEST says it has a challenge to all businesses in San Antonio, especially the ones at the airport, to host a food drive of their own.
