SAN ANTONIO -- News 4 WOAI is trying to help raise a million pounds of food to help the needy in South Texas, and we need your help to do it.

A News 4 WOAI crew will be taking your food donations on Monday, November 23rd from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Security Service Federal Credit Union at Loop 1604 and U.S. 281. Just look for us in the parking lot. You don’t even have to get out of your car. We will come to you.

It's all part of our food drive for the San Antonio Food Bank.

If you can't make it, head out to a Security Service Federal Credit Union branch.  Stop by any location and drop off your donation.

All of the food will go to places like the Dwyer Shelter. It provides food every day for families who need a hot meal -- three times a day, seven days a week.

San Antonio Food Bank officials say they have seen a big increase in the number of families which need the help in our area.
