As long as you are fully recuperated and all incisions are healed, you can donate blood. All presenting donors must be in good general health when donating. If you are feeling ill that day, it is not recommended to donate blood. If you have any questions about certain medications or health issues, please call 210-731-5555.

oh yeah, and a wire mesh used for a hernia repair, does that prevent me from being a donor?

Question.... I've had 3 neck sugeries, all of which have had titanium implants, but no blood transfusions, can I still donate? The last one was done back in 2007. I also suffer from migraines, and seizures, does that prevent me from donating?
