I am impressed. Some of you are pretty darned good students of San Antonio, or at least you know your S.A. trivia.
The latest photos I posted were of the lizard and the bee and the cat paintings on a building. The murals have been on that building for more than a decade so I figured some of you would recognize it. But I wasn't sure that many would remember what business used to be housed in that building or who painted the murals and when they were painted.
But when I put them on my Facebook page it took all of just a few minutes for people to identify them correctly as:
1. On a building at the corner of North St. Mary's and Euclid.
2. That building used to house the Frio Brewing Company.
3. Robert Tatum is the artist who painted the murals on the building.
4. He painted it in 1996.
Congratulations to Marcy McChesney, Bill Jevic, Adam Rocha, Valerie Garza, Karine Berghauser, and Cindy Amaro Rodriguez for knowing that.
I took some wider shots during the day to make it easier for you to identify.
More San Antonio challenges to come. Stay tuned.
And again, you can check other comments or guesses on my facebook page, but not here. Too many haters like to post on the website.
BTW, you can catch Robert Tatum signing copies of his Dia de los Muertos poster this Friday at 7:15 pm in Juarez Park.

And Frio Lager, as I recall, was pretty good beer. David Strain brewed it and even created the logo on his computer.
