EL PASO, Texas - The Texas Air National Guard 149th Fighter Wing is based in San Antonio. But a GSU (Geographically Separated Unit) of that Fighter Wing is based at Fort Bliss in El Paso and helps train military snipers in the desert of New Mexico. That 204th Security Forces Squadron also trains its own members on the automatic machine gun that fires 40 millimeter grenades.
News 4 WOAI's Randy Beamer brought his weapon of choice (a video camera) to Fort Bliss for a look at just how tough it is.
