SAN ANTONIO - As of Saturday, September 29, a cool 12-mile stretch of the San Antonio River will be open for paddling.
Yes, paddling. As in canoeing and kayaking. It's the state's newest Paddling Trail, as a matter of fact.
The San Antonio River Authority is going to open it to 7-day a week paddling with a special event Saturday morning - WEATHER PERMITTING.
News 4 WOAI's Randy Beamer took his camera onto the river to show you what paddlers will be able to experience and why this trail isn't for wimps. Click here to watch...

Special thanks to Matthew, Gloria and everyone at the San Antonio River Authority.
