Elizabeth Rosenblum started something a few years ago that sounds like a joke to some people.

But it's helping to change lives.

Street2Feet is a running/walking group made up of homeless people. Dozens of them.  They're staying at the City of San Antonio's Haven for Hope campus just northwest of downtown as they get all kinds of help trying to turn their lives around.

And exercise - especially running - helps do that.

Elizabeth Rosenblum has seen it.  She started Street2Feet, which is holding its 3rd annual Toyota Texas Street2Feet run Saturday morning, February 18th.

Check out Randy Beamer's story on Elizabeth and the presentation of the Jefferson Award by 4 WOAI General Manager Jackie Rutledge.
