"why he's strongly supporting the upcoming $596M bond vote." - wow thats really news. A politician strongly in favor of getting more taxpayer money to spend on his pet projects. Vote no, I did.

Bonds are the biggest scam of all. They throw in a few things people WANT like some street repairs, or a new facility or two. Then they throw in new office furniture...which will be replaced before the bonds are even paid off...new computers...take some trips, maybe help fund a light rail line for the elites that only 500 people will ever ride, and hide millions in non-essential spending they won't budget for through the regular process.

The taxes will come in later....when these BONDS must be PAID OFF with INTEREST. It's like take out a loan to buy a cheeseburger...pay the loan in 12 years.
