They've now raised more than $2.3 million for scholarships for San Antonio young people.
The
La Prensa Foundation Diamond Awards Gala Thursday at the Omni Hotel honored 11 outstanding San Antonio women, including Linda Hardberger, D' Ann Harper, Lana Duke and Whitney Solcher
Our Randy Beamer was honored to be Master of Ceremonies as the crowd packed the ballroom of the hotel. Patsy Torres sang the national anthem. Dr. Maria Hernandez-Ferrier, president of Texas A&M San Antonio delivered the keynote address.
