Yes, it's me really singing.
I've gotten a lot of questions about whether it's really my voice in our spot where I'm singing like Bill Murray the lounge-singer on Saturday Night Live. So I just wanted to make clear that yes, I actually sang all that.
And I appreciate the (mostly) kind words about it.
I also have to admit I was more nervous when we actually shot it than I have been a long time.
And I also want to make clear that they didn't use my best take of the song in the final promo. It has a couple of somewhat off-key moments that I am blaming them for.
But kudos to Brian Hawes, David Stotts, Gabe Redondo, and everybody who really made it unique. And for putting in at least some reverb.
BTW, I brought this promo shoot on myself after complaining that the voice in the "White Christmas" promo we lip-synched wasn't as good as mine. THAT was not me.
