I am a nurse that works in a clinic here in San Antonio. We have not gotten our alotment of H1N1 vaccine. We have seen hundreds of patients with the swine flu. Yet none if the most important people have not been given the shot. some of the staff has already gotten sick. Me personally besides being a healthcare worker, I am an asthmatic with chronic bronchitis. I thought we were suppose to be one of the first in line where is the vaccine.

What are the school administrators doing for the students that are out for 1 week plus due to contracting H1N1? Will there be leniency with students?

If you have already gotten H1N1 in early fall and recovered from it what is the probability of contracting it again, since we are getting into the real meat of the season?

Why is it that while other states (like California) have apparently received large amounts of the H1N1 vaccine, Texas seems to be receiving next to nothing? Does the answer have anything to do with how states voted in the last presidential election? If not, then to prove it somebody needs to show a map of the us (showing red and blue states) that indicates how many doses of vaccine each state has received.

Does the H1N1 vaccine have additional additives such as squalene or thimersol; if so, could these ingredients potentially harm unborn babies if administered to their pregnant mothers?

What are the names of the main providers, manufacturers of the H1N1 vaccines who supply the vaccines in the USA and what countries are they from???

Can someone be allergic to the H1N1 vaccine and if so can the side effects be so server that someone can die from it?

I've heard that the vaccine is good for about 6 months. Since the H1N1 is a year round flu, does this mean that we need to get vaccinated again in the spring??

My two year old has a severe anaphylactic reaction to egg. I know he can not receive the regular flu vaccine because it contains egg proteins. Is the H1N1 virus made with the same egg protein? Is it safe for my son to recieve? If not, what precautions can I take other than hand washing, etc.? Also, since my oldest has been diagnosed with this severe allergy, should I keep my 7 month old from receiving the shot because he may have the same allergy? Thank you.
