By Christina Rodriguez, Host of ‘The Garage’
SAN ANTONIO - Watch “Troubadour, TX” tomorrow (Saturday) at 6pm for a chance to see one of San Antonio’s most talented musical artists, Nicolette Good. She performed in the WOAI.com Garage a few months back, and we were all knocked out be her amazing voice.
What goes down better than a little San Antonio alt-country sung to perfection? Nicolette and guitarist Jesse Basham play “Marathon” -- a song about a small town in West Texas that just happened to also be the filming location for the movie “Paris, Texas.” They also perform “Post Apocalyptic Love Song” which may or may not be about zombies. You be the judge. Click here to watch…

Nicolette Good's songs range from alt-country rockers to indie folk ballads. Sung in rich, plaintive melodies, her clever lyrics keep listeners on tilt while paying tribute to heroes like Neko Case, Ryan Adams, and Wilco. On her self-titled EP, you'll hear done-me-wrong revenge songs, summertime romps, and an epic pop-folk ballad called "Ramona" that one fan says "hits on a very beautiful feeling." On stage, these songs make for a high-energy inspiring show, one that's both truthful and downright fun. Nicolette can be heard as an acoustic duo or a four-piece band.
