SAN ANTONIO – Are you ready to party like it’s 1989? Today in the Garage we have San Antonio’s longest running old-school punk bands, The Dispicables. Click here to watch…

Hang around with Shilo and the boys for any amount of time and you’ll find there guys have stories – lots of them. They’ve watched genres come and go. One of their first shows was with Jaw Breaker and Tilt. Heck, they even opened for Green Day at The Showcase back in 1994.

While many of the original generation punk rockers have left the scene, Shilo is still going strong. What makes him a lifer?

“I guess for me it’s more of a way of life. I’ve been doing it for a long time – the majority of my life,” said Shilo. “It’s pretty much like a religion for me.”

So what can you expect at a Dispicables show?

“We’re one of the last punk rock bands that still play 80s-style punk rock. Not many bands do that anymore. That’s what we do – to this day,” explained Shilo.

“If you’re not dancing, you’re messing up,” added Pony Boy (aka Jonesy).

The Band…
  • Shilo Dispicable: The Rebel Voice
  • C.J.Dispicable: Lead Bombs
  • Gabba Gabba Gabe: Bass Basher
  • Pony Boy- Guitar Hero
  • Evol Con Evol: Dropping Bombs and Percussions
Tuesday, March 6 at the White Rabbit are opening up for DRI – one of the greatest hard core bands of all time. Also on the bill are F.A.T.M.D. and Sans Faith.Make sure you’re there.
