SAN ANTONIO – MonkeyFest? Yep – that’s what they call it. In fact, this is the sixth year the event has been held here in San Antonio. Over the next three days, three venues will be hosting more than 30 bands and comedians – and you can get it all for just five bucks. In fact, the kickoff event tonight at Hi-Tones is free.

SATX Music, Texas is Funny Records, G.Tomas V Promos, and Broken Bone Zine have joined together to put on this event at Hi-Tones, The Limelight, The Mix and The White Rabbit. On Friday $5 will buy you a wristband that gets you into all participating venues. All venues are 21+ except The White Rabbit, which is all-ages (2 stages).

Just want to sample? The Mix will be free during the whole event.
