Photo of the Day: Mission Lizard hiding in plain sight

Hiding in plain sight! According to the photographer, “These great lizards were all around the base of the yuccas at the missions. They were almost invisible until they moved.” But that simply means you must slow down and take the time to actually see what is out there and enjoy it. Nice image. Texas Spiny Lizard. I have them all over my land. They make good pets, too. Non-agressive, nearly docile. Great pic.
