Photo of the Day: Meadowlark Dream

The rare color of spring! This spring we have not had the color that we saw last season but this photo reminds us of how beautiful south Texas can be in the spring time. The photographer makes us focus on the Meadowlark on the fence post by making sure the bird is sharp and the background is out of focus. The placement of the fence post and bird on the far right of the image give us a beautiful negative space of color. The bands of color being slightly out of focus cause them to look like an Impressionist painting. A lovely image of spring! Well done. Would you like to submit a photo?
