Photo of the Day: Fort Phantom

Beautiful and serene! According to the photographer, “This is a picture of Fort Phantom, about 15 miles northeast of Abilene. The Fort itself is forgotten as well as the area around it. A rain storm was moving in while we were there and was able to capture the wild storm brewing in a very serene place. “The cactus in the foreground and the tree in the left top corner of this image frame the landscape and direct our eye into the forgotten landscape. Nice photo. Would you like to submit a photo? Email to nancycavendergarcia@gmail.com. "This is a picture of Fort Phantom, about 15 miles northeast of Abilene. The Fort itself is forgotten, as well as the area around it. A rain storm was moving in while we were there and was able to capture the wild storm brewing in a very serene place," explained the photographer.

The cactus in the foreground and the tree in the left top corner of this image frame the landscape and direct our eye into the forgotten landscape.

Beautiful and serene! Nice photo.
