SAN ANTONIO -- An article in the New York Times has sparked debate and a maybe a bit of rivalry in the Lone Star State.
The author of the article, John T. Edge, says "When it comes to breakfast tacos, however, Austin trumps all other American cities."
One Austin taco house proprietor told Edge, "They’re cheap, they’re good, they’re Austin." But critics of the article say breakfast tacos were popular long before Austin came into the picture.
