Pretty lame that people are complaining that our troops are expedited on their way to a hostile land because these people are in a hurry to go on vacation. Idiots. If people had any sense of being American then when they see our troops in line at an airport that they would let them cut in front of them as 'thanks' and respect. But nooooooooo. Not these days. Whiney crybabies.

There is a big difference between "expedited" screening and "bypassing" screening.

I wouldnt mind letting them go to the front of the line. But i would never call them lower risk. They need to be screened just as thoroughly. Oh how soon we forget...

I don't have a problem with a different line but they need to be subjected to the same level of scrutiny as the rest of us.

spursfan ya REALLY, just cause they are in uniform doesn't mean a thing. ft hood shooter was in uniform. i believe the man caught with c-4 in his bag this week was in full uniform. just cause they are in uniform (which anyone can buy at the local army-navy store) incigina's and the like can be bought on line. and there ya are full dress military uniform and never served the first day. i'm ex navy and suport every perk we can give members of our military, but not at the risk to others because of a bad apple.

A case can definitely be made for express screening for military personnel with ID. And that goes for holders of a Concealed Carry License as well. Both have already gone through fingerprinting, background checks, etc. You want to make sure they are not armed so they still need to go through metal detectors but these people have been checked out already.
