SAN ANTONIO - After giving up 34 points to Stephen Jackson in Milwaukee earlier in the season, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said this was the worst defensive team he's ever had in San Antonio. When reminded of that, Pop didn't quite remember it that way. What followed was a funny exchange between the coach and News 4 WOAI's Don Harris. Click here to watch...

They're still in "I'm on strike" mode. Why show up?

This may not be the best defensive team the Spurs have ever had, but they're still not to shabby. Pop's comments were early in the season. The Spurs are a different team now. When they were excellent defensively, they were average offensively. Now, they're excellent offensively, but I think they're better than average defensively. In fact, during their current 14-game winning streak, they have been just as incredible at both ends. Right now, they are the most consistent team in the playoffs and I feel are the favorite to win it all. That could change during their series with the Clippers or Grizzlies, but right now, there is nobody better.
