SAN ANTONIO - Tuesday was supposed to be opening night in the NBA. Now it has come and gone and the lockout still lingers. The spurs player representative is Matt Bonner. I asked him how he would explain to a kid why there's no basketball. Click here to watch...

Even if it does get resolved, I won't buy anymore NBA sports wear and I guarantee I won't be watching any or caring about any of the NBA games. Guys are getting paid too much for just playing a game.

Greed. Greed killed the NBA try explaining to me why a 50 /50 split was not good enough for the players? Try explaining why in these hard times a hard salary cap to try and curb outrageous player salaries and help reign in costs to make the league as a whole more financially viable is not fair? As far as I'm concerned these over paid ego maniacs can go play basketball in the park and get real jobs like the rest of us. I will not be spending any of my hard earned money on gear, tickets or anything else having to do with the NBA enjoy life ingrates.

I for one am not missing the NBA. Wonder when they're going to figure out it's the FANS that support their extravagant lifestyles, and the FANS are leaving in droves. Bye bye NBA. Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out...

The question should be how to explain to season ticket holders why there's no basketball. I doubt kids would really make any difference.

Mr. Harris, stop throwing the kids under the bus. It's not the kids that will suffer it's big money that will suffer. It's not the end of the world and the sky is not going to fall.
