Turns out there is a silver lining to Tim Duncan and Tony Parker being out: other guys are getting to play more -- and they are playing well!

It's obvious when it comes to Richard Jefferson. He had 29 points Wednesday night, leading the Spurs to the win.

But the Spurs are finding out that they've got a couple of defensive gems. Did you see DeJuan Blair's block on Dirk Nowizki? It was NICE! Even more impressive was Antonio Mcdyess's smothering man-to-man defense on Dirk. He's bigger than Bruce Bowen, is physical and gives the Spurs a different option when it comes to guarding big guys with agility.

The team had the day off Thursday. We expect to see either Tim or Tony - or both - Saturday night when the Thunder come to town.

Congratulations you two. Remember a child is a gift from God and it is also a testament that when two people love one another it is a reward for the commitment you both made to each other . That child will bring you both joy and I pray for everything to turn out well as the time progresses.
