SAN ANTONIO – If you’re like me, you hate trying to use the many functions of your smart phone while you’re driving. And before you go all crazy, I’m not talking about texting. I’m talking about using the built-in features like GPS, music, podcasts or even talking on the phone. The problem is that there’s no place to comfortably mount your phone for easy use. Sure, there are some adjustable products out there that claim to work, but they’re all kinda sloppy and really don’t do the job as well as they could.
Enter ProClip. They manufacture in-vehicle mounting devices specifically for your vehicle and phone. Buying a ProClip is a simple three-step process. First, you select the exact model and year of your vehicle. Then you select your phone. Finally, choose the mounting option you like best (to the left or right of the steering wheel). So I selected my Honda Fit, the HTC Evo and center panel mounting option.
Two days later my mounting kit arrived. Installation was far easier then I had expected. A 10-year-old could do it. First you snap on the mount, which includes a little sticky pad to firmly hold the mount in place. Then you screw in the device holder. It’s simple!
My Evo slides it right into the holder; firmly mounted to the dashboard. There’s ample room to plug in the audio and charging cables. The holder is on a swivel, so when I fire up the GPS, I just turn the phone sideways for maximum use of the display.
At just $30, I haven’t been as impressed with a product in a very long time. The ProClip gets my highest recommendation. In fact, I just ordered one for my wife.
One note: If you have a case on your phone, call ProClips to get the holder that will work best. The holders are designed specifically by model, and cases change the overall phone size.

It’s a razor dock that supposed to keep your blade sharper, longer. And it works! The blades for my Gillette Fusion cost about $25 for a 5-pack. At only $20, the MagnaBlade will end up saving you a ton of cash. Plus, they have a money back guarantee.
