I understand contracts go to the lowest bidder yet this contractor was able to get the job trashing up to $7000 worth of floor? Someone in the purchasing/selecting department needs to step forward and explain. Who were the other bidders and what were their bids compared to the selected winner? As for NEISD principals, they make up their own rules as I experience at Northwood, and Krueger.

Claims by his wife and attorney are as expected, Of course he "did nothing wrong" Well yes he did. Even if some of the materials were trash, no school employee, and especially administrative staff should be helping themselves. He is lucky he was allowed to resign instead of being prosecuted.

In this case the whistle blower did it for personal gain. The only thing the principal is guilty of is sunshades(which was not trash) and he returned them. We all make mistakes but it's when you make them continuously knowing its wrong is when you need a good beating.

Sleeze bag doesn't have enough sense to know that you don't take materials home that were purchased by taxpayers, even if some fool tells you they are going in the trash. What you do is inquire as to why the materials are being trashed when they could be used elsewhere in the district. You tell the fool not to trash them and you advise the superintedent's office. How do you get to be a principal of a major high school in NEISD? Need to raise the bar.
