Read for yourself the entire complaint filed against 175th District Court Judge Mary Roman.

As I reported, the union representing Bexar County Adult Probation officers recently filed the attached complaint with the State Commission on Judicial Conduct. It alleges Roman violated Judicial rules when she called probation officers to her chambers last April to discuss their supervision of her adult daughter.

Roman says she did not do anything wrong and was just acting as a concerned mother.

Gosh makes a person wonder what do the people in the Justice Department talk about at work? Hog futures, price of gas, latest place to eat, or maybe they talk about money. Of course they talk about criminals or clients on probation, what else would these scarce probation officers talk about, they don't hesitate to speak about their charges at the Cadillac Bar after they get off work. A judge is suppose to talk about criminals in their courtroom. The judges chambers are as private as it gets in the tell all courthouse. As Brian Collister remarked in his last story about this incident, "Its all about politics." But what I can't understand is why an outsider from Dallas, Texas who according to the compliant filed has it on good information from Probation Officers meet with the Judge along with the berated workers some do carry guns? Why the news station before the judge? Does this mean that the Association now supports Republican candidates for the judges position?

Jeeeez Louise, since April 26, 2011 to just this month. Why so long to complaint about this irregularity? This sounds like more politics than a complaint. Also why are all the positive posting about this incident being remove from this comment page?

As a concerned mother, Judge Roman, you should have stepped in to help your daughter from your home and a long time ago. As a judge, you should know your boundaries. The rest of us don't have the luxury of being able to call anyone into our office to discuss these types of matters...you did wrong and should step down!

why would you say anything to your boss when your boss and bosses boss were called in to the same meeting with you as for why an outside union filed the complaint when your own union leaders are in bed with city leaders and a judge counts as a city leader you can forget about anything being done.

@sanavyvet, annagarcia,freehole,charlie50 and batman: Answer me this did the person who file the compliant say anything to their boss? Why would an outside union, United Steelworkers, and not the Central Texas Public Employees Union file the compliant? It is easy to feel no compassion when bad things happen to other people. All I can say is, "Those without sin my fellow humans, cast the first stone."

Just curious the story mentioned officers as in more than one I wonder if the case officer and the supervisor were called in and if so was it a summons or did she merely say I want to see you and your boss in my chambers. Either way they should've declined to do so. The judge has no business sticking her nose in her adult daughters case much less viewing her case file. She was flat out wrong and needs to be slapped down hard for doing it.
