Judge Christian may have a good record in HIS courtroom but what about outside of it, his bar habits caught on tape are just the tip of the iceberg because they say nothing about his bar habits outside of work hours and this report only captured some of his bar habits during work hours (mostly on Friday's) but I know for sure that at least once this week he went to the bar for lunch and drained a few drinks before going back to work and I overheard him speaking with the blonde married lady he was with talking about meeting everyday for drinks at lunch as well as other "extracurricular" activities away from the bar, things that I am positive her husband would not approve of. So is this right that we have a judge who regularly visits bars for lunch, drinks a few drinks (maybe many) and then returns to work to preside over his court? How can we know if he is sober or intoxicated? Then the next question is how can we have a judge who actively pursues a married woman knowing that she is married? Is there not some type of ethical dilemma with that. Since he is a judge and a public figure he should be held to a higher standard and held accountable for his actions as well as penalized with slightly higher consequences. He is the position of trust and he is abusing it.

Judge Christian has an incredible amount of common sense, and in my experience as an attorney, he usually gets things right. At times when he has been unavailable, his staff have usually informed me beforehand, and if something time-critical comes up, other judges can be approached, or Judge Christian can often be reached by phone through his court coordinator. Outside of the court room, he doesn't follow me, and I return the favor. He also doesn't criticize me for what I do outside the courthouse, and I return that favor as well. This news story fails to cite a single provision of law or contract which Judge Christian has violated, and also fails to specify how much vacation or paid time off Bexar County judges receive. The fact that this reporter had to stoop to slinging mud at Wayne Christian's timing and choice of extracurricular activities makes one thing clear: Wayne Christian is a good judge, so if you make up your mind that you want to smear him, you will have to look outside the courthouse, because what he does inside the courthouse has earned the respect of many attorneys, myself included. Smear stories like this belong in pre-election TV ads, not in reputable news venues like WOAI.

Judge Christian is a great judge! he is the only one that will stick up for his court clerks. Its probably Gerry Rickhoff that is disguising himself to make judge Christian look bad, because he doesn't like that Judge tells him that he does wrong to his clerks. Anyone who works in the criminal county side will agree with me.

That there judge kind of reminds me of the wizard of oz, so I figure he gets a free pass for being as wise as an idiot can be if you really understand how the legal system works. I am more disappointed now that I hear Collister's voice, because he sounds shrill, not like the superior reporter and crime fighter I once assumed he was destined to be. It is important to understand the nature of lawyers and judges WITHIN the legal system, which comprises nothing less than the cages and bars that prevent human animals from running wild within the system. At the bottom of the system, you have the common police officer, who battles criminals with both his wits and his muscles. The phone rang, I am sure it is someone selling insurance, I will be back.

Trying to explain himself to Brian shows he knew he was wrong! He could barely get his BS explaination out. He was either having an anxiety attack or was pulling a Sen. Marco Rubio and desperatly needed a glass of water!!!!!!
