TexasLackofIntegrity - Is that you Lucio, posting under a fake name?? BWAAAHAAHAA!! What a d-bag. Why don't you have the guts to come clean and tell the readers who you really are and stop posting under a fake name! So, where to begin? You want readers to believe that Castillo should have been fired in 1992, OVER 20 YEARS AGO?!?! Because of what you claim were "racist" comments?!?! Are you for real?!?! Stop slandering Castillo, who has more guts in her pinkie than you have in your body. As Jen060402 reminded you, you gave Castillo a "superb" evaluation. How do you square that with someone who supposedly didn't come to work?? You took your wife on a vacation that we, the taxpayers, paid for and Castillo busted you. If you had a shred of decency, you would stop running her into the ground and RESIGN!!

Texas Integrity, you sound completely biased in your opinions. If Ms. Castillo was a prejudice, incompetent employee, why did her glowing performance evaluations state otherwise? Anser that since you seem to know it all. You have way too much detailed information, I think Mr. Collisters report was superb and full of facts that taxpayers need to know about. You are very likely the only supporter Mr. Lucio has so I suggest you pull the wool from your eyes and look at the facts.

SATxlady: You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Don't believe everything that comes on TV, do your research and wake up. Ms. Castillo is far from innocent!!! She's a prejudice lazy worker and got caught and now is trying to justify her firing!

Woodathunk, thanks for the correction and actually I didn't notice that the word was misspelled and yes I didn't wan't to applaud him but I was rather appalled. And for Newsdog, that "performance review" should have been dealt with difference had I been in charge but I believe the when you're new ED and your "second in command" has been working at the agency significantly longer than you have coming in, you aren't always as critical as you should be, believing that the people working under you are actually working. Especially when you have to go to visits the sites located in 13 counties in South Central Texas or attending Federal, State and CAP agency function which are usually held out of town. Some of us have high expectations and trust for the people we leave in charge - unfortunately it can be disappointing at time and unnoticed unless you take the time to check up on them. CCSCT has had over 6 Fiscal reviews since last October with no deficiencies. These reviews have been from Federal, State and outside auditors. CCSCT has grown - in size from that of 13 counties last year to 21 this year under the direction of Mr. Lucio. This would not happened unless CCSCT were able to prove that the agency is well managed and fiscally responsible.

Hey Texasintegrity Maybe the glowing attagirl review she got last assessment wasn't quite enough to fog her memory if your accusations are true. Some people get sick and tired of business as usual as long as you can get away with it.

Should have stayed with the Mexican Culture and not taken your adoptive culture. A man's word is far more valuable than the $772. But here again some people know how much they are worth.

@Texasintegrity: I believe the word you're looking for is 'appalled.' After berating Brian, I don't think you intended to applaud him.
