Shelly Miles is the host of San Antonio Living and traffic reporter for News 4 TODAY.

Shelly graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in broadcast journalism and communications in 1996. She attended school on a speech and debate scholarship, and was a nationally ranked debater.

Shelly started her career at the campus-run news program at NAU and interned at KNAZ, the Flagstaff NBC affiliate. After graduating, Shelly spent her time as a country radio DJ and Music Director.

Shelly is deeply involved in the San Antonio community. She has been honored by many non-profit organizations for her contributions, and was named Fiesta Queen of the Vine by the Brighton School.

Shelly spends her free time with her husband, a San Antonio native, and her two daughters. Shelly is a native of Southern California and likes to head back there for a break when it gets too hot in Texas.

I was really disappointed in Rachel Ray and the way she reacted to your "fake Ray". I thought it was rude and unprofessional and was probably pretty awkward for you. Some of these people that are raking in millions from their own show, products,etc- probably turn into #@!...- but I may be wrong.We were in S.A for New Year's Eve and had a blast... I always watch S.A. Living,

Hi Shelly! I am a new author of a children's book series living at Canyon Lake. I am introducing children age 9 and above to all the different types of renewable energy in a fun, full color book including great photographs, colored drawings from a 4th grader in an easy to understand manner. The series is called Green Dan Says! with my first title being "Renewable Energy is Cool" I have a cartoon character of myself which includes green hair and a green beard. It would be fun to be on your show and I would come in character! What would be the best way to get on your show in order to get parents interested in teaching their children about renewable energy? My prayers go out to the military staff and their families. Religion had nothing to do with this. The man who did this is a sick man that needed help a long time ago. Many lost their lives because no one saw the waring signs. May God heal all those who were wounded. May prayers are for all those also who need healing.

Shelly, your sign off when doing the morning traffic sure sounds like Walter Cronkite's famous sign off, "And that's the way it is." And you say "And that's the way it's going to be" What do you think???????????????
