Nancy Cavender-Garcia is a professional artist who earned her BFA and MFA degrees in photography at the University of New Mexico. She has 24 years experience in photography and art and is skilled with both traditional and digital photography. She has extensive experience in non-silver processes, hand coloring photographs and pinhole photography. Cavender-Garcia received The Southwest School of Art and Craft 2005 Award for Teaching. She has been offering photography classes through The Studio for over a year.
