SAN ANTONIO - Michael Garofalo is a Edward R. Murrow and AP award winning journalist. He anchors weekday mornings for News 4 WOAI Today.
Garofalo is all about storytelling and thinks everyone has something to share, even if it takes a few questions to figure that out.
He has reported and anchored from around the globe, including from the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy, Super Bowl XLIV in Miami and from the CMA Awards in Nashville. Garofalo spent part of his career in Colorado Springs where he covered the opening of Northern Command. He also reported from NORAD'S Cheyenne Mountain Air Station in the weeks after 9/11.
When Garofalo is not working and out meeting people in the community you might see him running along the River Walk with his yellow lab Kaia. He also plays golf, tennis and bikes.
